Tuesday Cruise Night

The Cruise Night has become very popular and runs every Tuesday Night from the first Tuesday before Memorial Day through Summer until the second Tuesday after Labor Day, 4pm - 10 pm. For the exact dates of each Tuesday Event, see our Calendar of Upcoming Events page. We are averaging 180 cars each night (Corvettes, Mustangs, Muscle Cars, Stock Restored Cars & Trucks and Street Rods) and the final night is the Finale, where a "car show" tends to happen.

Doug, in his trademark white apron, personally throws out a hearty welcome mat in the parking lot for everyone.

  • Eat pizza inside or outside on lawn chairs next to your classic.
  • Door prizes are given out when you register for free.
  • Mike at Music Memories with his Elvis tribute and complete DJ services plays music and announces the cruise night party.
  • Hotrods, Muscle Cars, Antique Cars or Classic Cars are all welcome!
  • "Thank you for cruising with us!" - Doug Fricano

West Michigan's First Pizza

In 1949 the late Cosimo (Gus) Fricano, founded what is believed to be the first pizzeria in West Michigan, Fricano's Pizza Tavern, in Grand Haven with the original thin crust pizza pie.
Doug Fricano's goal is that every original pizza baked here at the Comstock Park Restaurant since 2003 is identical and as good as any pizza ever served in Grand Haven.
In fact as the son of the founder Gus Fricano, maintaining his Fathers original recipe and quality of pizza was also his most important calling for the 14 years that Doug ran the Grand Haven Fricano's (the best years of his life).

Rich Monroe's Trophy

The trophy won by Rich Monroe at the River Valley Cruisers Car Show August 2007.  A crash took his life that day and he will always be remembered by us at Fricano's Tuesday Cruise Night.  The nicest guy you ever could know.  I would like to commemorate his life by showing off his last trophy.
